Biography
My name is Dr. Richard Abram II, and I am a dedicated educator with a passion for creating equitable and supportive learning environments for all students. Over the past 15 years, I have served in various roles in K-12 education, including classroom teacher, school psychologist, dean of students, and currently, a high school administrator. My work focuses on strengthening school culture, implementing restorative practices, and coaching teachers to deliver high-quality, engaging instruction. My research explores how strong teacher-student relationships and effective instructional practices promote resilience and increase college graduation rates, particularly for Black male students. As an adjunct, I enjoy sharing practical insights and fostering authentic dialogue to help future educators build inclusive classrooms and thrive as confident, compassionate leaders.
